Website Analysis and Research 4: Paramore

Images and Logo: More images here than on any of the other websites I've looked at. There's an image of Chucky, relating to Halloween, showing that this website is obviously regularly updated. Strangely, there is no clear image of the band. There's the image to the right of the band silhouetted against a backdrop, which is cheeky and mysterious.
Genre: Nothing on the website really conveys the typical pop punk conventions, the font is all standard as opposed to graffiti style, instead of a vast array of colours, they've gone for different shades of muted beige. This is very similar to Fall Out Boy's Website.
New Technology and Links: Shockingly, there are no links to facebook, or myspace which I found unusual. There is however, a live twitter feed and a store. Just above that is a large box giving us the chance to join their community. Which sounds just lovely.
Colour and Style: As previously stated, the colour scheme is unusual and unconventional for this genre, with it's various and exciting shades of beige. Still, it seems to work well enough.
Written Content: This website has the least written content on the homepage. Perhaps suggesting something about the mental capacity of Paramore fans. But seriously, what writing there is, is once again in an informal friendly manner, and addresses the reader personally.
Font and Layout: The layout of this webpage is possibly the neatest and most structured of all the sites I've looked at. Everything is ridiculously easy to find, and labeled in large, clear fonts.
Target Audience: The target audience of Paramore are teenage girls. This is clear through the layout and overall look of this website, with it's clear and tidy theme and muted colours.
Advertisements: There are no advertisements to anything outside of the bands own material or shows.
