This group got the "look" for the band right, but I think they really messed up with the tone. The performance sections where we see guitar and drums are way too boring and slow for a death metal song, and not at all convincing that they are playing along. The narrative was also fairly weak in my opinion. There are some nice shots, making use of the nice countryside location, but having said that, a countryside doesn't spring to my mind when I see death metal. The main performer is confident and convincing, and the editing is pretty cool, especially where the jump cuts match the beat. I would probably have given this music video something along the lines of 20 out of 40.

Previous Student Work 3 - Bring Me The Horizon
